I surely hope that she comes tonight. In a little while, a little time, or at least tonight. So that I can find some peace of mind.
And I know that she will probably be fine, but I can't check cause I can't get her on the line. And I know cause I have tried a million times.

She might be hurt, she might be dead. How the hell am I supposed to cope with that?
But then again she always found her way home. She will also find her way this time.

I shouldn't think of all the thinks that could go wrong. I could make a list a thousand pages long. And I'm sure I could go on, for days to come.
But let us presume that things usually go right, and that ambulances do arrive on time. And that crime is in decline. That would be nice.
